Cordoba Spain 2009
I started my Andalusian (southern province of Spain) tour with Nurali. We got together in a small hostel in Cordoba to start our exhausting 5 day journey around the province.
I had heard many times from my parents about this enchanting place, stories of the muslim rulers and how technologically advance they were at that time. Cordoba was certainly not disappointing, its one of the biggest cities of Andalusia and its main attraction was the great Mosque "Mezquita". The whole city is very beautiful with narrow cobble stoned roads and the thin river flowing beside it, its definitely a nice change in scenery when you travel around in many parts of Europe.
With our over-ambitious travel plans we could only manage one day there, Once we went outside the city we saw endless olive groves creating unique landscapes. In the end Cordoba city was a pretty satisfying trip apart from the horrible sea-food paella i had.
